Founder & Principal

After 10 years of working in the non-profit sector, I realized the key role that strategic planning and effective leadership play in driving impactful social and environmental justice projects. After completing an M.S.c in Biodiversity, Conservation, and Policy as a Fulbright Scholar and a role as a Dangermond Fellow on the National Audubon Society’s Enterprise GIS team, I decided to found Geospatial Equity Tech.

I bring unique value to the projects I support as a consultant by combining my skills in applying Geospatial Technology, Science, Storytelling, Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging (EDI-B) Focused Leadership and Community Engagement. I believe a cross-functional approach and broad skillset are vital to developing a relevant technology approach. Relevant in the sense that it enables and deepens organizational partnerships. My passion is to give a voice to historically marginalized communities by combining inclusive leadership and technology.

Community Engagement and Outreach Coordinator

I am an animal, science, and nature lover. I completed my BSc in Zoology while working as a full-time project coordinator on the conservation of a critically endangered species, the Pink Pigeon, at a local Mauritian NGO. With the understanding that a multidisciplinary skill set is crucial to effective conservation efforts, I am now in charge of executing the marketing strategy for Geospatial Equity Tech.

I am a lifelong learner and aspire to always find new ways to improve my skills which enables me to channel this knowledge into my work, the people I support, and the processes I develop. I possess a strong understanding of the systemic barriers to female leadership and I am committed to creating pathways for equitable career opportunities in STEM.
