Consulting Services

As a technology, equity, and leadership consultancy firm, we leverage the industry-leading geospatial tools provided by Esri and provide the following services.

Project Management and Coordination

Using our project & product management skills, we leverage technology platforms such as Airtable to successfully manage concurrent projects and ensure cost-effective decision-making.

Equity, Diversity and Inclusion framework

To ensure an inclusive and equitable framework for decision-making while building products, we organize conversations using our leadership and social science training to ensure stakeholders' feedback at different stages of product development. This helps ensure an inclusive and equitable framework is applied when building products that inform the decision-making process.

Storytelling

Diagram showing the points to take into consideration for making good use of storytelling.

Storytelling is at the heart of communicating, without understanding, empathy, buy-in from partners, stakeholders, and the community projects can lack the engagement required to properly drive relevant change. We strongly believe that communities and stakeholders require more than data management skills. Our approach to storytelling covers the use of technology to give a voice to marginalized communities across the world through building digitally interactive and spatially explicit narratives.

Check out the Storytelling Platform below created on ArcGIS Storymap by our Founder Véronique Couttee. The storymap was nominated for Esri Sustainable Development Goals Storyteller awards & featured on Forbes:

The StoryMap has been viewed over 1000 times across 77 different countries since its launch in October of 2020.

Web Application Development

Geospatial web applications democratize access to valuable spatial information that is critical for the decision-making process. Because conservation has strong ties to spatial and temporal dimensions, reducing the time to access valuable information to make the right decision at the right time is an important step towards achieving overall goals.

See the following example.

Cartography

Cartography is found at the nexus of communication and spatial data. We take an audience and human-centered approach to communicating data through cartographic representations.

See the following example.

Data Management

Combining scripting workflows (R & Python) with the modern GIS web-service-oriented architecture approach enables the creation of functional and streamlined data pipelines. These data then can be used to create interactive data visualizations, providing timely information and data transparency to facilitate a relevant and adaptive approach to conservation management.

Capacity Building

Technology platforms and digital transformation can often feel out of reach, difficult to conceptualize, and lacking in collaborative options for external stakeholders. As part of our services, we also offer geospatial training to help users overcome gaps and foster rapid technology adoption.
